DON'Ts
0....Don't ask why until you've completely diagnosed what it it is
you're asking about;
.................................by then "why" might be obvious anyway!
1....Don't use adjectives; find the noun.
.................Don't say "black," say "coated with carbon."
2....Don't use ambiguous wording. Be as concrete as you can, then
go back and make it more concrete,
3....Don't overemphasize "is" at the
expense of "is not".
