1 spreadsheet.
Right
click on the tab label forthe chart and delete the whole tab.
Delete
the analysis columns to the right of the dfata you've done for
Assignment 1.
If you have not already done so, add the column for
College Grad? using the Excel =IF function, following the
guideliones of http://sofia.whalen3.org/07HW/06key1formula.pdf
Delete all the
columns
except for JOBSAT, EDUCAT, and College Grad?
Use Insert column to add two new columns right
next to the JOBSAT
column;
label one of them Grad-Sat and the other won NoGradSat.
Sort your entire data area byt College Grad? descending, copy the
JOBSAAT for all the college grads into the column labeled Grad-Sat, and copy the JOBSAAT for
all the people who are not college grads into the column labeled NoGradSat.
Select, tools, data analysis, descriptive statistics and run summary
statistics
on JOBSAT, Grad-Sat and NoGradSat, in cluding a "confidence level
for
mean" of 90%
Also follow the instructions in http://sofia.whalen3.org/Hypothesis.html
to test whether the mean JOBSAT of employes who have graduated
from
college is different from the mean JOBSAT of employees who have
not.

look like.
Attach the spreadsheet of an email addressed to oochitel [at]
whalen3 [dot] org.
The subject line of your email must be the three characters
HW2 followed by one space and your name.
PLEASE do not use a
different subject line; it interferes with the
emails going where they need to go to receive credit!
Do not combine multiple assignments into the same email.
In the ***BODY*** of the email (NOT a Word or Excel attachment!)
answer the following questions:
1. Can we be 95% confident that the average job satisfaction of
